But this only happens within the first mile of driving. Wouldn't it do it all the time if it were any of the reasons above? That's the part I don't get.....??? My brother was thinking of buying the axle from the guy if it was something that could be easily fixed.
Detroit locker question???
I myself have never owned a full carrier detroit locker (love my ARBs), but I saw this on another board:
If it helps it's for a D35c. Is this normal for Full carrier detroits? He never said how old the locker is, but maybe it's an install error, or just too many miles wearing it out? My brothers old lock-right used to act up at first, but then again it :nuke: after a couple months. Thoughts?The detroit is acting up really bad, its banging(ratcheting) about 15 times in the first mile the jeep is driven then quiets down to the way it normally drives.
