They are the same IMO. I have em' and have had no problems, probably going with a spool next though. It hops the truck around corners too much, and kinda pisses me off. I wouldn't go bigger than 33's with it either.

He's a newbie, explain what HOPS around corners, Lockright, Detroit, or the spool. I have the lockrights and have had good luck so far. If I would have known about the great deals on spools i would have bought one a long time ago. But now i will save upp for the ARB

TrueTrac is a limited slip differential. No way shape or form it's a locker (I have one up front).

Just get a Detroit SoftLocker. You'll be glad you did. <IMG SRC="smilies/eyemouth.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0">

Just grenaded a True Trac, so naturally I will have to say wouldn't recommend them. I have now replaced the True Trac with a spool for half the price and twice the satisfaction. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smokin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/blender.gif" border="0">

If I had to do it again I would deifinately put a spool in the rear diff!! I saw what was left of Camo's rear Diff at TDS and the spool was still intact.
