I've never heard of anyone using them for either.

It *might* work with FRORFab's "wide and vented" kit though since it uses IFS calipers and rotors.

Basically the only difference between T100 calipers and rotors and regular IFS ones is that the T100 rotor is thicker (25mm vs. 18mm?) and calipers are bigger...

One thing to think about is the rotor diameter. I believe the T100s come with 16 inch rims, so you might have to get 16 inch rims for your 85 so the calipers don't hit the rim. Good luck. If it works post back.

Nope. I've never heard of anyone doing a swap other than using IFS stuff on the soild axle with the FJ40 rotors.

Most of us don't own late-model Toyota trucks. If anything, I want to put older stuff on my newer truck (as in, the 82 axle on the 89 Runner)

I actually called them a few weeks ago, and they told me the web site is a type-o and that you still have to use FJ rotors. Just thought I'd clarify..I would think that the T100's would not work then?

I've got 15's on my T100 that came w/ 16's from the factory. No rubbing, no problem at all.

I think its just the later model 4runners that have the 16" wheel requirement...

Anyway, do you know of ANYONE who's used the IFS calipers AND rotors??? FRORFab is the only one I've heard of.

I would say that if you can do it with the regular IFS rotors and calipers, you can do it w/ the T100's. Just about everything on the T100 IFS is identical to the smaller trucks '86-95 IFS except for the rotors/calipers and that the CV axles are longer.
You could bolt the T100 brakes onto a mini-truck IFS if you wanted...

Then no.

I don't think its a typo... I thought he used the IFS rotors for the first design, but then changed it...?

What does the new design use-- the IFS caliper, IFS wheel hub, LC rotor and a spacer???

If they are free... go get them, then go trial fit em'. You have nothing to loose... maybe an hour or two?

I plan on running the brakes that came on the FZJ80 axle, nice BIG (relative) rotors.
