never heard of those but the best block heeater I have ever used was for a 4020 John Deere.. It hooks in to the heater hoses and will heat an engine up in about 30 minutes ..

I have one in my truck, and most of our rigs at work have 'em. Best damn thing since sliced bread. The one in my pickup only takes about 15 minutes to bring the engine up to temp and clear the windshield/heat the interior so long as it's above about -25C. I love it. Only thing is you need to have good batteries, once it gets to -35 or below, a weak set of battery's may not have enough jam left to start the engine after the engine is warmed(looking at 30-45 minute runtime.) Personally I run a pair of Commercial cat 31 battery's @ 1200 CCA, and have no issues.
