I think I may have found a candidate for a passenger flat top knuckle but wasnt sure if interchangable.

Dodge Dana 44: Mine is 8 lug w/disc brakes

Would the passenger flat top off of an earlier drum brake (early 70's?) D44 be interchangable

what I have found is that the pattern for the spindle is indexed differently for drum knuckles..... it usually places the caliper brackets in an odd location..... but you can usually re- drill to index it correctly......

Here is a 70's style Dodge knuckle. It can not be used with a regular Dana 44 spindle. From what I've read of other people dealing with this knuckle you have to run Dodge parts.
Need some info on flatops, I'm trying my luck on an draft article.

Drum brake would be part-timer ... could probly be made to work, but I know the GM drum brake Knucks dont have provision for clearance vs. the caliper.

I practically tried to give a set away here awile ago and had no takers.
