I saw that California entirely closed all national forests in Southern Cal yesterday. If they also close El Dorado National Forest will that close down the trail? Since it is a county road, I wasn't sure and figured I'd ask since I'm suppose to be coming out there to run it next week.

County update 9/8/2020:
Due to the fire near the Rubicon Trail, El Dorado County Department of Transportation has CLOSED the Rubicon Trail until further notice. This closure is for public safety.
Please pass this information along and stay out of the area.

as of 5pm today, all lands, trails and roads are closed in all National Forests in California until 9/14
the Rubicon was closed yesterday
today you may not even enter the Forest
