Thought you guys may like another project to follow along with. :D

I started out the middle of last week with getting rid of a little unnecessary sheet metal

And than moved onto to starting the 4-link in the rear

And the new crossmember for the links to mount to

With the crossmember in place it was time to finish up the rear axle mounts and figure out my link lengths

And than onto mounting up the quarters

Why the wheel spacers on the rear axle? Looks like it's going to be a fun toy.

I'll keep an eye on this tread just for ideas.

Do your lowers attach to that same Xmember? Any why mount the Xmember under the frame rails?

The front clip and the windshield are sticking around but the rear is just going to be enough tube to hold the gas tank and trail tools.

I used to F250 rear springs for the 1/4's

I put the xmember under the frame rails because I am trying to keep the rig as low as possible and still get my link geometry to work with out the towers on the axle being 5' tall. The tranny xmember is still hanging down lower for now tell i get around to picking it all up.

 kool! kool! kool!

yours will be nice and low, i have the ford shackle on mine and the leafs frenched in an inch lower(thus higher) than yours and it sits pretty level with my front(which is equivalent to 3" allpros). im making shackles with a heim on the axle end today, so the main leaf doesnt get waisted when all twisted up...

I guess my lowers will more than likely be similar to yours as far as vertical location at the frame. Looks good, keep us posted

Yeah, DSI. Why don't you look into that. :flipoff2:

Wait for it... wait for it...
Or maybe there's someone on the BB who'd sell you one.

Got a shot of the links from the back? I'm not understanding how they are laid out and attached at the frame end...

Here you go. It will go against just about every rule about 4 links you have read on the board, but it works.
