Here's my thought, tell me if it sucks or not. This may have been done but I found nothing on it. Getting my Chevies ready to go in and I like the double shackle idea but apparantly they suck on loose hillclimbs. Has anyone ever welded a tab to the frame and ran a hitch pin or bolt through the tab and upper shackle to hold it stationary until you need the droop, then you could just pull the pin out similar to a swaybar disconnect? Is this a stupid idea or has anyone tried this?

Ditch the double shackle and move ths spring hanger back some. It will perform better all the way around. Double shackles are old news. alot of people ditching them for a decent single setup.

zags, how far back on the shackle hanger? Or is it a tack it on an check the shackle angle type of deal? We canadians are kinda behind the times anyway (maybe just me) not enough rocks to play on (round here anyways). Thanks.
