I've got a first gen trooper and the A-arm on the pass. side is rusted pretty bad. I'm in the process of changing it out. Everything is off or loose and the snag is the rear bolt, the one that the torsion bar connects to.
I've coated it with PB Blaster, I've heated it with propane with two torches one on each end of the bolt, hit it with a 16# sledge hammer, I'm at my wit's end unless I have to drop the front diff to get a direct hit on the bolt. I have been hitting it on somewhat of an angle using a piece of flatbar.
Anyone have any experience that would be of use? Thanks guys.
