why not !!! does it know which end is up ??? just puts the splines in the dirt more and the GOOD chance of buggering the splines on a rock tho---

I think the early Toys came with the splines up top from the factory.
When are you going to cruise out to sunny AZ? I mean it's only like a 8-10 hour drive right?

My 90 came with the splines at the tranny side... seems to work just fine <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I think most Toyotas came with the slip at the t-case unless it came with the 2 piece drive shaft. My 91 X-cab was at the diff (stock 2 piece & now custom 1 piece), but my 92 4rnr is at the t-case.
