Hoses or metal strips? Metal strips are pointed down, held into the orginal with a nut and bolt or welded to the existing bracket and the metal line is bent down to fit in the new hole. If you are using rubber hoses to extend the existing hoses you have to get three stock rear hoses and screw them to the existing hoses. If you go thet method your brakeing might be affected because of more expantion in the rubber hoses.

My recommedtion is get the longer SS hoses.

A not asked question is a dumb question.

save yourself the hassle and get stainless lines. takes about 30 seconds to install them (bleeding them is another problem all together). I just bent new hard lines for the rear axle and put in SS lines and it took me about 45 minutes to an hour (not including bleeding the brakes).
