1. Has anyone moved the rear springs under the frame to gain more lift and possiblly more articulation?

2. Which is beter, - NV4500 with atlas II, or a NV4500 with a Klune V and Dana 20 twin stick? I am thinking of doing a mod and want to get some of your guys ideas.

Thanks

It's called inboarding. There are a few threads around.

"Better" is pretty subjective. I prefer the flexibility of a doubler setup, but I have a feeling you'll have a hard time fitting something that long into an EB. If you like the doubler idea, you might consider using a 4spd (NP435 or T18) with a 203 doubler box into a D20 or 205. I imagine you'd save at least a few inches that way... but I couldn't say for sure.

4500/Atlas is a nice combo, but it's not going to be cheap.
I went with the 4500 myself, and hope to have enough "jack" to get the Atlas soon.
Your other suggestion leaves you with the situation of having the weak output shaft of the D20, which is compounded when you use a dbl'er.
If $$$ is no concern, go with the NV4500/Atlas. You can get an aftermarket alloy output shaft to strengthen that part of the D20 but it's like $400 by itself.
If I move my sripns under the frame rail, inboarding, what should I expect my drviing to be like. I also plan on running dual shocks in the rear.

Thanks..
