Looks like a decent unit, but their 'upgrades' fees are not realistic. I believe we discussed Eaton before, search.

I believe the summary is: Someone's someone has one that's burnt up a bunch, other ppl have had them with good luck. Final summary, good unit, nothing special. If it were me i'd get an IR T30 (5hp or 7.5hp depending on power)

That looks like the Eaton I bought a couple years back. Much better than the comparative offerings (IR) until you step up in price to the Quincey range or you start looking at the big industrial units.

For whoever asked, its a much quieter unit than the equivalent IR. Not bad to work next to at all.

I like the IR. Quincey is nice, but for the price, it better be. Eaton left a bad taste in my mouth when I inspected one with a hole in the side of the block last year. I really wish I would have taken pics before it was hauled off for scrap...

Oh yeah and it was the warranty replacement for the first one that failed. Now keep in mind that this was a diesel shop that used it daily. You'll probably be fine with whatever brand you buy for a home garage/shop. I got a smokin deal on a Kobalt 3hp that keeps up with my plasma and blaster, so I'm happy with it.

I don't have any Video but you can talk on the cell phone 5ft away while it's running .

I bought the same one. Very happy with it. It is a very good compressor for the money.
