There shouldn't be any EGR @ idle, but then again, if the VSV isn't working right, or the vacuum lines are mis-routed to a manifold vacuum source, yeah, that may raise the idle speed.
Ken, the motor swap is stalled at the moment (no pun intended <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> ). I think we're going to concentrate on swapping the '60's 2F into the FJ40, since the old F'er is wheezing it's last dying breath <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0">
