I run the 120 volt for my on board air with no problem. All they are is contacts rated for a a specific amperage, not voltage per say.

Seth, are you talking about the pressure switch with the big
gray plastic cover on it????????? If so mine said the same and
it works just fine.

I don't think the 120 VAC coil in the solenoid will work on 12VDC, switches yes, coil no.

No, I have 2 air solenoids, and on them they say:

Volts/HZ.............Watts
120/60................5.4
110/50


So i assume it wont work with the cars 12 volt battery

I don't thin the coil in the solenoid will work, switches yes, coil no.

OS, I think Seth is talking about the air pressure actuated switch
that the 12V supply current goes through on it's way to the clutch
on the compressor pulley.

If those are the leads to the coil they won't work with 12VDC.
