I am in the process of selling my 83 4x4 pickup. It has a Weber carb on it (for the last 10 years) and this is becoming an issue because the potential owner may go to school in San Diego.
I think, based on the care this truck has gotten, that simply swapping on a stock carb and air cleaner, along with re-connecting all the lines, will make this smog okay in California.
What do you think? Have any of you Californians had problems with smogging the carbed 22Rs?
Also, would anyone be interested in swapping a stock carb for an 83 22R for a Weber 32/36?
Thanks for any info,
Allan
