I'm building on a new project and I'm looking for the leafspring dimensions from an F150 4x4 and a regular 2wd F150. The biggest thing I'm looking to find out is if the 4x4 leaf has a larger arch. If so what is the differance? If not what does ford do to make the 4x4 taller than the 2wd?
Thanks

Ford loves to put blocks in the 4wd models this makes up for the difference in ride height this is true for the 80's and 90's trucks not sure about the new ones though. The other difference is ford put a stiffer spring rate on the 4wd trucks so they rode rougher.

If you tell us what you are trying to accomplish someone may be able to suggest a slavage yard option.

Well I'm lengthening the wheel base on my jeep and I'm going to use ford f150 springs to get more flex. I'm going to be running 38" tires and am trying to figure out if I'm going to need some springs with lift or can I use stock springs. Could someone tell me what the thickness of the spring pack is from top to bottom at the center pin?
