fan shroud

Its close enough to tuesday :flipoff2:

So I moved some stuff around and still would like to use the stock shroud, for now. Radiator has been moved up and backwards. Top of the shroud fits fine. Bottom not so much, had to cut most of it out.

Its kind of like having a body lift I suppose.

So is having the fan way out of place in the shroud, and having the bottom of the shroud basically gone ( fan is probably 65% enclosed) going to help at all.

Just looking for someone who may have done this before.

I can build a custom shroud but really don't want to right now ( don't have access to a TIG) so would like to run like this for a while.

Better to drop the shroud and fill the top with aluminum or something from my experiences...you'll definately lose alot of effieciency the way you did it. .02

This is not a permanent thing.

But dropping the shroud might be quick and easy thanks

More like a for now thing.

It stayed cool last year with only the top of the shroud on so I think I will be alright.

Just wanted to see if anyone had ever done something like this.

The eventual goal is either windstar fans or a custom built shroud.
