It's time the LandCruiser guys get some candy too:D ...Here are some shots of the fiberglass, high clearance hood. They will use E-GLASS/1708 + - 45 And it will be hand laid. The entire hood has been narrowed 8", the fenders are approx 4" narrower on each side(8" wide as opposed to 12" stock) The hood dimensions are an exact duplicate of stock(except fenders, obviously.) More details to come next week....

Interesting, But why narrow it?
The fenders, yes Narrow them but the hood? The only reason that I can see a narrow hood being useful is if you were going to build a buggy. Personaly I need as much room under the hood as possible.

Umm, that's 8 inches narrower from side to side. Minus four inches on each fender. 4+4 = 8. :D

Okay, thanks Pin Head for clarifing, the narrowing of the hood is on the fenders ONLY. Fenders are approx 8" wide(stock-4" each side) The hood is an EXACT of original. I cannot give an exact price yet, but can say they will be very comparable to the aftermarket High Clearance Jeep Hoods in price. I will be able to say more on this in a week. The mounting is same as stock. The latching, as with most all hoods of this type, will require Hood Pins, though there are some other tricks to do this. Hope to have an installed pic here soon. ...And yes this should alleviate the unessasary slaughter of clean, stock metal in favor of a clean, mean, form & function solution for anyone with larger tires, forward axle positions, little lift w/ big tires, excessive engine heat, pretty motors they want to show off:D You get the picture...
