Hey1

We opened up a section of wash near Camp Verde, AZ. It's real short but has two 4'
falls less than a truck length apart in basalt rock. I blew the right side trying to backup for the second drop! No pic's, it was after midnight, navigating via head lights. I made it down the second fall, and 80% of the way back up before having to winch out. The wash will provide great access to the Verde River with no body else around! Gonna have to check it out in day light to get a better line next time.

Gotta find another spare passenger side now!
Also ended up w/ rock rash on the drivers side front and both rear fenders, tested the nerfs good too!

absolutly!

it's a 25' wide sand wash that chokes down to about 10'. The next time it rains, there will be no trace of our minor alterations. We had to remove some large, loose, washed in rocks from the approach and departure areas to the falls. The area is NOT closed to off roading, with the exception of Bald Eagle nesting time in the spring. It's a neat place w/ Beaver (the dam building type), catfish and small mouth bass available for fishing. We've got to do some more exploring!

You will have to come down and join us sometime. Lots and lots of excellent trails around Phoenix. It will be alittle better when the temps cool down.

hey Jack!

I've got a couple of things to fix now, don't like the rear shock setup, and I'm still running noisy Superior gears in the rear- hope to see the guys at Kongs to fix that soon.
I'd definately like to come down and see the experts run!
As far as it being a "cool" trail repair-
It ain't to high on my list! Too much grease and sand! Took me a little over an hour and a half for the first time thru.
