So we picked up the AGR rock ram "system" today from Summit Racing. It came with a new "superbox" a ram, a pump, and all the hardware. Today I only had time to install the steering box. Since I ran out of time, I will be installing the ram and pump in New Mexico.

Anyhow, I must say that I was very impressed with the quality of everything. The box is actually larger than my old Saginaw box. It's slightly wider, and a tad longer. It bolted right in, but required me to do a little grinding to my crossmember for clearance. Once everything was bolted up and fluids replenished, I fired her up and noticed a BIG difference in turnability. With just the box, the vehicle steered MUCH better than before. I can't wait to add the RAM and pump!

Gotta do what ya gotta do, big guy.
Kelly has a good shot to finish well, with her driving skills and strong healthy cruzah.
You can always get parts for other projects at another time.

I have the Super box 2 and love it. (I think it's the same box they send with the Rock Ram kit. ) Mine works great.

I take it you haven't had a chance to test the new u-joints then. I guess Kelly gets to test them

It's good to hear that you're having good luck with it. I just installed my SECOND AGR box this weekend. This one works better. I first had the AGR Superbox II. That box ran hot and in the rough stuff, it tends to feel like manual steering. But now, I just put in the SuperBox I, and it's much much better. Steering feels tighter and takes a little more arm power to steer, but it's consistent no matter what. But now, I think my AGR pump is going . It's making some serious noise ( this happened about a couple of days before I put the new box on, so I know it's not from the box). Pump is only about 5 or 6 months old
