I will be doing the spring-over in my Samuri this next week. I plan on using rear springs up front, shackle reverse up front, longer shock towers up front, moving the rear shock mounts inboard 6", as long of shocks as I can get under it and moving all the springs inboard 2". I was wondering if missing link type shackles were going to be worth my time to make as well ?
Yes, I will be rebuilding the drive shafts when all is done but I only want to do that one time.

M/L shackles in the rear with CJ front springs works pretty good - don't forget the brake lines.... <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I have the brake lines.(11" longer)
I decided against the idea of moving the springs inboard 2" for now. If I ever change the axles out, then I will look into that as well as cj or yj springs. I assume that putting the rear springs up front with three springs, removing the overload and adding the smallest spring from the front pack, is that correct. Nobody in our group has a Samurai to refere to.
Mostly full size and Jeeps.
