fj40 steering on solid axle mini truck

I Just helped a friend upgrade his fj40 axles to newr disk axles. Can I use his old tie rod and drag link to make a cross over steering for my 85 4runner? I will use an IFS box of course.

I would think the drag link would hit the springs, unless you make a double arm.

will this setup work if the stock mini truck arms are flipped? Or can I use the stock FJ40 arms and flip them?
