For sale, 68 or older FJ55 Iron PIG. This was given to me in a trade for work, I have no paperwork on it. The frame and drivetrain appear to be intact and in very useable condition. The motor looks like it will start with gas and a battery. The tub has cancer everywhere, it is not a gem. Bring A 4WD truck and a trailer.

I would LOVE to pick it up and bring back to life..always wanted an old fj!

....but as a Land-rover owner with four aluminum beasties and a wife too...I can't even think of it.
I hope someone grabs this before it goes away to a junker?
It's in Cali..stockton area i think?

Pretty gone though, the interior is hammerd too.

what was teh first year made?

I am not a fj guy, so don't know what they go for in what cond...but passed up a few years ago, and know they ended up getting crushed..would hate to see that happen on one of these..the trashed interior would be no problem if you are planning on simply welding up where rusted areas were cut out and than rino-lining it and wheeling though, huh?

there is also a toyota 1800 deisel engine in berkley for $400 on craigslist too..

yea 68 to 79.
Its cheep I will say that. Worth it to someone I hope. I hate to see them crushed too, sad

The roof being so jacked is the only rusty thing that really bothers me.

It has the wrong front turn signals for a 68, it looks just like my 69. In 68, the 55's front turn signals were mounted to the side aprons, not the top of the fender. The turn signal and the side aprons were both unique to the 68 model year.
