Manny and Rockhugger if either of you find a premade Earls or Russell braided line the same specs as the van wagon please post the part number as I think I may want to purchase a set. Thanks

OK, I finished my new bling today...vented disc brakes :D

I took some measurements and It appears that with a 90 at the caliper, I could use a 10" line to the existing bracket on the axle (see Rockhugger's pic).

A 12" line would give additional room for removing the caliper when necessary.

Rockhugger,
Do you remember the length of your Russell lines?

thanks,
manny

I just so happen to have it here at the house, but no tape measure.

I'd estimate 12" oal. Female end 10mmx1.0 Inverted flare., Male end 10mmx1.0 inverted flare.

I'll confirm the length tommorow. Also Polyperformance sells the universal brakeline components.

Here are 2 pics of my setup using the Napa 38878 flex lines that we finished yesterday!

Huge thanks to cruiserbrett for the help and idea of this mounting method! I think it looks super clean and functional!

11.5" OAL. All else is correct.

Dear Manny,

We do not have a break hose for your vehicle. Although we do offer
parts to make your own braided line kit. The do it your self kits, are NOT
D.O.T. approved.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I ordered the D.O.T. approved pre-made 12" 3AN straight-to-straight w/metric adapters (part# from prevous post).
total $45.00

thanks everyone for your input,
manny

If you use a Russell DOT legal #3 universal hose assembly (I do not know if Earls makes one) then you are DOT compliant. The adapters do not effect the DOT compliance, only the crimp collar style.
