This isn't my rig, but one I have worked on to build. And everytime we take it anywhere, we always get the "you can't wheel it, it's too big", especially in Moab, and yet every time those same people see it in action on sidehills and every obstacle, they change their mind in a hurry. It is surprising how stable stiff springs are on obstacles. On sidehills it feels better than my Blazer with almost no lift and soft springs.

In fact, in real wheeling situations and crawling, I have found that I prefer stable rigs over slinky suspended ones.

The shots shown are with the flexy springs as well call them....Should have seen how stiff it was before we corrected the suspension geometry

How many of these keyboard terrorists have actually wheeled a tall vehicle. Like a 7000 lb Suburban on 47's with 12 inch lift springs and a 3 inch body lift....

400 trans custom built by me.
custom 9" adapter between trans and tcase for better dline angles
stak 3 speed tcase
d60 front, ox locker, alloy usa chromo's, longfields,1410 yoke
14b rear, overson minispool, 1410 yoke
47 ltb's on h1 double beadlocks.

Wow, this thread went from funny to stupid real quick...

Why? Because I have shown that an tall truck can wheel?

I like my rigs low to the ground, but the burb is quite impressive. Yes some things are tight to wheel in, but on the other hand he can do obstacles easily that smaller rigs have a hard time with. Every rig has its upsides and downsides.

If any of you ever see it out wheeling, be sure to stop us and go for a ride, you will be surprised to say the least.

And out here in Idaho, we have some of the best rock trails around...
