So i've got a built 302 in my toyota pickup and i unfortunately put a toyota 5spd behind with an adapter from NW Offroad. I've already gone through two of them and another one is about to go out. I'm not hard on them or anything they just wont hold up. So i'm ditching the 5spd and going with some kind of automatic. I was thinking a c4 with a dana 20 out of a jeep because of the passenger drop but i'm not sure. Any input on what people have done with a ford motor/tranny swap would be appreciated. thanks

hell ya, front digs are fun for breaking shit:D, + get 4:1 gears
just buy a stak d300 with 4.1, $1800-1900

in other words
toy t-case stuff is a bargin!

Throw An R Series At It And You'll Be Just Fine.

EDIT---> Of course, you will need a different adapter bell when going from a W or G series to an R series and, unless
you can score a "getting rarer everyday" R151F, you'll need a t-case adapter, too. Prolly cheaper to go with a C4/C6.
