I am getting my Ford 8.8 rear soon and need to find someone to weld on my spring perches and shock mounts in the VA area. Also, any info available for taking the angle measurements yourself would be helpful. I'd like to read up on it before getting it done.
I'm thinking about having the shock mounts welded on upside down to keep them out of the way of rabid rocks. Is this a good idea?

If you want to drive 3hrs I will weld them up for you. I rotated my shock mounts up about an inch so the bracket would not be as low. Each Jeep is a little different so setting up the perches will be different for you. I think I have my pinion at 16* on my YJ.
