Hello,
I have put an 80's Chevy Dana 60 front axle and hydroboost in a M715. Even with an adjustable proportioning valve, there is too much braking in the rear.
Brake cylinders from a 1993 Ford E350 are known to be direct replacements (1-1/16" ID). According to Advance Autoparts' website, a F150 of the same vintage has 15/16" brake cylinders (22% less surface area).
The question is - Woud both brake cylinders have the same mounting surfaces?
Thanks.
Mikel
