Anyone have a Ford doubler?? (are they all the same?)
wondering how much drive line it'll use up.
I'm using a stock tranny to NP203 adapter.
tryin to stick with 31spline T-cases (both Ford)

the doubler adds 9" in place of a 205 alone... if memory serves me correctly the rear output will be almost the same as a 203 alone, as the 205 is only the length of the chain drive section of the 203, only the front will be longer.

This is for the ORD kit

I have a NP435, custom adapter, and Ford 203/205 31 spline.
Total length from front of transmission to centerline of 205 yoke is 34"
Custom adapter between 435 and 203 is 2 1/8"
Doubler from WMS.

So since the 203 gear box is 6", the adapter is 3"?
I'm currently machining my adapter housing for between the 203 and 205, and I'm getting it down to 2 1/4" it looks like, but it's going to be extremely tight on the front output shift rail. I'm also clocking the 203 case upside down (adding a second boly pattern to the front of the 203), and the 205 flat

Hey Rogue drop me an email, I machined Andrew's 435-203 adapter (2.25" long) and am making him a 203-300(3.75" long) one right now. If you aren't in a rush I'll see what I can do.

how long would it be from the front of the tranny, to the 205 outpute yoke with the stock adapter??

I have no clue to be honest, & the truck isn't close by right now, so I can't go out & measure it.

OA length is 21.5" from the face of the 203 to the center of the u-joint on the back of the 205...
So if it's 21.5" - 13"NP205 - 6"NP203 gear box = 2.5" adapter
Thats not too bad :D :D

Never measured it that way, I think we lost something like 5-6"
I never had a stock adapter.
Had to cut and re spline output shaft of transmission in addition to new custom adapter.
I'll be finishing a writup and posting pictures within a week.
