pics suck though - so back to the pump, not sure if it is just a cooling issue but it sure didn't work most of the time..

Supposedly the 5.0 Van's used a Saginaw pump, and the bracket is almost if not completely bolt on. You will definatley need a cooler though.

Hell I used to have to run a cooler and a catch can on my Road race car, with little (by wheeler standards) tires.

But the Saginaw is supposed to be THE answer.

ford trw pumps suck, end of story. i dont know if your 5.0 brackets are the same as my 5.8 but the only solution i could think up was ditch that bracket and fab one to hold a sagnaw pump using a chevy six rib pully. this was way to much work for me considering it also mounts my supercharger so i deal with it. i run my arb off as much as posible to ease the strain.

Yup, i did this converson on many full size bronco with 5.0s should be the same,

you need the bracket and pump and pully from a 89 (thinking) or newer Van, you also would need to change your high pSi line fitting, other then changine the line its a bolt on

Nope, keep the AC, just have to get a bracket off a van that had it.

okey dokey, I'll go hunting <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I got an Earls hose so I can just get a new fitting for the end, shouldn't be a big deal there.
