At least i think it is a 300. Someone replaced the drivers door with a later mod one and I couldn't find any other tags on the thing. It had a front and rear 70, 435 and divorced 205. The fawkin u joints are huge. The rear on the transfer case was a 1350, every other one on the rig dwarfed it including the dreveshaft from the trans. I am guessing 1410?
Engine was a slant six and it had a dumpbed with pto off the 205. The rear spring pack was 9 inches from the axle tube to the top of the springpack.

I went back to pull the front 70 and someone quicker on the draw beat me to it. I still grabbed up the 205 and all those huge yokes.

Was this something off a dealers lot or some kind of a military truck? It looked like the original color was something like a forest green. The sheetmetal was the late 70's style

My Uncle just picked up something similar to what you've described. It's a 71 300, V-8, some kind of 4-speed, divorced 205, 70s F&R with 4.56s. The front is a closed knuckle.
Anyone know what spline counts these 70s would have?
