Did a search and came up with poor/minimal results.
I am a ways from this part of the rebuild but would like to have an idea what to look for or budget for:
Other than the standard under the seat tank, what have any of you successfully used as a PRIMARY tank. Any luck w/a domestic application behind the rear end?, after market?, etc.
Thanks ahead for the ideas.

don't know about primary use, but for secondary use, suzuki samarai tanks and cj5 tanks are pretty easy to fit in. the zuk tank would be kinda small for primary, though.

I really like the Long Range unit. Yeah it still goes under the seats, but in all honesty, I prefer it there to the back of the vehicle. 28 Gallons is plenty for a weekend of wheelin...

Downfall, in your older tub, you would have to remove the toolbox under the drivers seat and fab up a completly new seat cradle. ;)

I like this one. It was a rear tank I bumped up a little, so it would not rub on the rocks. The seat set perfectly over it. It was about 20 gallons or so.
