I am doing a Solid axle swap on my Toyota.. I have a 5.29 Rear gear ratio.. I am installing a Dana 44 front axle and the closest I can get to that is a 5.38.. Will this hurt anything? I have checked on mismatching tire sizes to make this conversion work (I haven't purchased my tires yet) and I find that the difference in tire size that it will need to be is less than 1".. This don't seem enough to hurt anything, "if I run the same size tires"... IS IT???
Thanks in advance!!!

1. Why didn't you ask this in the TOYOTA board?

2. Why didn't you SEARCH the Toyota board first (it HAS been covered before).
