Whats the best brand of gears money can buy???

Cryo treat whatever you buy and they will be much better--call Dean at Performance cryogenics for more info

My opinion is that Precision makes the best gears.

i heard that genuine 5.71's are the best that money can buy. 4wheel parts told me this and they must know what they are talking about right.

For a Dana axle that would be Dana.....for a Yota axle, not in any particular order, it's PRECISION, US GEAR, MOTIVE, and SUPERIOR. The Italian made gears out of Ambrose stuffed in Yukon boxes seem to have the quality also.

For the Yotas....I have noted a QC issue with RICHMOND.....and Genuines are, with no doubt, the garbage gear of the not so choosy.

All that said, the ultimate strength of a ring and pinion install is not so much the ring/pinion itself but the quality of the install. Probably 9 out of 10 gear installs are done wrong. Think about that for a second. :blender:
