I am working on a Dana 60 rear from a 1976 F250. It is a face milled ring gear, 410 ratio. I have followed the procedures above however I am all the way down to no shims in the inner pinion race with a .006 backlash and the pattern still shows the pinion should be moved away. Any thoughts?
