Carbed HEI are all the same but quality is a differant story! get youR ignition parts from a good source like NAPA at least, better yet try Jacobs or Accell. Their parts are of thicker material and of better componants(brass contacts) than say Autozone(aluminum contacts), it just goes to show that you get what you pay for.
NAPA part #s RR171 AND RR173
OH AND IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY SOMEONE MAKES A EXTERNAL COIL KIT FOR THIS SET UP, AND MADSEN CROSSFIRE(?)
MAKES A CAP THAT HAS ALL THE WIRES FOR EACH SIDE OF THE ENGINE ON THEIR RESPECTIVE SIDES OF THE CAP
If you look at a Delco they are aluminum also. They are made by wells, so just because its OEM doesnt make it good. If you go to Carquest, they carry Standard Ignition, the same people who make blue streak. Napa I think are also made by Standard if not they are made by Borg Warner. Pep Boys carries borg also. Stick with the premium lines since they last longer than the cheap shit.
