I want to put a 2001-2004 GM ZF 6 speed manaul (found in 3/4, 1-ton 8.1L and 6.6L) in my '93 Chevy truck. From what I understand, the bellhousing is integral and matches the typical GM bellhousing bolt pattern (SB, BB, 6.5TD), correct me if I'm wrong. What I'm not sure is if the adapter will fit my '93 t-case? What t-case do the 2001-2004 3/4 and 1-tons use? Is the bolt pattern the same? How long is the ZF tranny? Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!!

They use a NVG t-case so the bolt pattern *should* be the same. I don't know what the output spline count is. I'm not sure about the rest. I would go measure my ZF on my ford (same tranny) but my wife drive's it to work. Sounds like a good swap keep us informed.
