My trusty Craftsman professional meter shit the bed after 17 years. Don't want to drop the cash on a Fluke, but don't trust something priced at $40. Any suggestions on a good meter that is sub $200?

I recently picked up a Klein CL 700, it was sub $200 but not by a whole lot.

I am very happy with it so far. Way more than I need.

I have an Ideal 61-340 that I was given a while back that I use as my "good meter" and I have been very happy with it (other than the fact that you cannot lock the screen illumination on, it times out, usually right about when I have both hands on the leads measuring something): https://www.amazon.com/IDEAL-61-340-Ideal-Test-ProMultimeter/dp/B003QIRJSE

It does the usual voltage/amperage as well as well as temperature measurement (I usually use an IR temp gun for that though).
I also have a couple of HF meters for my "throw in the car" meters.
