I just got done installing a 3" body lift. The installation went just great, looks nice, but when I went to go drive it, the steering got wobbly. Any ideas or clues what might have caused this problem ???
It's a 89 Automatic V6 Runner ...

I don't know why a body lift would cause a shake but what brand lift did you get? I got the Perfomance Products 2" one and they supplied an extenssion for the shaft.

I'm using a Trail Master body lift kit, and it didn't come with any steering shaft adaptors or replacement pins <IMG SRC="smilies/crybaby2.gif" border="0">

Are there any other possible parts that could be a affected by a body lift ???

I didn't have any steering problems with my 3" body lift and didn't have to lengthen my steering shaft. Is the wobbling in the steering or is it the body shuddering on the mounts? Is the steering linkage all tight, no play?
