Not to sure but I think the military made some thing like that on one of there trucks a long time ago. Had a swivel in the frame. Can anyone back me on this?
Yeah that's it that's the thing!!!

Thanks for the back up Daniel!:flipoff2:
:rainbow: :flipoff2:
Construction equip has their own version, and it's a 6x6. This one is a Volvo, but most of the manufaturers have one. I just do not have any pics of a Cat articulated truck that shows any flex.

The nice part is... When he flops it, he only has to push half of it back on the wheels. :D

Think we can get Daniel to make an artic 6x6?:D
where are the detail pics of how he built it. lets see some frame/suspension detail
Gamma Goat

The military Gamma Goats are made with a similar design - I have seen those (OEM stock with a pumper bed) do some pretty crazy terrain out in the black hills during fire season...

They are lots of fun and pretty cheapo to get surplus ~3-7K dependant on condition...

Matt

More on the frame pivot on the pictured toy - I like the idea just was worried about torque flex

Read: vroom, vroom, crunch - cool! the cab is on its side!? :flipoff2:
there was a pic and writeup of a fullsize chevy on the con probably 5-6 yrs ago in the 4x4 rags with a frame pivot like that.

what is aluminum on that truck ?

- jack
hope he's got a hinge, but i have seen fullsize longbeds do that without one, 'specially if they're old and tired and are running a lot of lift and big tires- springs too stiff = frame gives.

the TOY, as in Toyota
I think it is especially :rainbow: how he is drinking the whole time. I fawkin hate wheeling with people that think it is a great time to drink some beer. I espcially love it when they give me great tips like "Hammer it" or the like. Sorry, about the side line there, continue on with the frmae talk...

Ryan
It looks like his friend is drinking to me, I don't see the driver with one. Newcastle too, so he's got good taste.
