My front right rim has black greese shot al over it. Did somthing break? I just noticed it today. I don't even know if it is from my car but it looks like it b/c it is spread in an outward pattern. THANX for the help guys.

it can also very well be the brake cylinder if its drum brakes. mine did this many a time or two. it sucks

i have disk up front. I tried to tighten the hub bolts but i can't get to them with a rench or socket. the handel hits my wheel and i can't trun it. any ideas?

there is an o-ring that often gets worn out in your lock out hubs, just get a hub rebuild kit and take care of it....very simple.

mine did that until it ran out of grease <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> i have a new axle im putting in anyways..

I had to buy a shorty Craftsman 12mm for that. It is your hub. Happens all the time.

Buy some Aisin (stock) hubs, they seem to do better. Make sure the hardened pin in in place and degrease the studs and use some locktite.

Works sometimes.

One thing I see often is the inner axle seal leaking into the hub and wetting the grease down, then passing through the hub. You could just replace the hub seals, but a better solution would be to replace the inner axle seal as well to keep your birfield in grease as opposed to 90w.

mine did that for almost 2 years, i thought i'll fix it when it runs out of grease, but damn thing just kept going. I replaced my inner axle seals and all was fine.
