I am re-centering my unimog 404's with nissan patrol y60 diffs, and i'm looking for the highest ratio R&P i can get.

The highest i can find for the patrol are 3.54:1 out of a y61 4.8 petrol, these still leave me a little deep in the gearing.

I could stand to run low pinion diffs front and rear so i was wondering if any if the pathfinders or hard bodys come with anything higher in the rear?

Any suggestions?

I already have sets of 3.9:1, 4.11:1, 4.3:1 and 4.625:1 all out in my workshop.

The 3.9:1 diffs still give me 8.32:1 axle ratio which is a little deep.

Do the Y60 axles use the same 9.17" center section as the North American H233B?

There are no reverse spiral gears available over here but we have up to 5.13:1 available for the low pinion H233B.

The rear diff in the y60 and y61 uses the same r&p as your h233b, i am looking for a r&p in the region of 3.09:1.

A 5.13:1 r&p would put me at 11:1 in my axles which is way too deep

I was kind of hoping one of your h233b's might have been somewhere close to 3:1????
