Can anyone tell me how much their 14 long 150 sring rate HAL's saged with the weight of the front end on them? Peferably someone with a 1.6 16 valve with suck trans and t-case with no winch but i'm not picky. Would just like to get it close as I can for setting up the mounts.

a 150in/lb spring will compress 1 inch for each 150 lbs added. or since there are 2 springs shareing the front load every 300 lbs would compress it an inch. guessing at a front end weight of say 1200 lbs: then 4 inches, 1500:5" etc....

i like simple math:D

I'm not home to be able to go measure, but if memory serves me correctly my coils are at about 11" with the 1.3 motor and x8000i winch.

Interesting how math and real world dont' always work together. That's why I'd like to get someone's measurements. Thanks

Ok, I just measured and the coils are just shy of 11", like I said before with the stock 1.3 motor, tube winch bumper and warn 8000# winch.

Hope this helps.

It gives me a good idea on where to put upper and lower coils mounts. Thanks a bunch.
