Just wanted to let people know of another excellent 4x4 shop in the Placerville area.

I recently had Jeff install new 5.86 gears in my D44 and was really impressed with the speed of the job and customer service.

Jeff is a spotter and mechanic for Team Rubicon which consists of a Sniper and whats left of an FJ40. They compete in RCAA, UROC & CalRocs.

Hangtown Extreme offers everything from IFS lifts, Superduty lifts to custom 3 or 4 link rockcrawler suspensions.

Give Jeff Carter a call @ 530-622-1412

Jeff is a pretty cool cat. I'm going to have him work on my tow rig. It's having engine trouble, and I can't figure it out.

Lance, is that the same place that's across the street from the
little radiator shop and also near Gary's Line-X shop????

It's the place right across from the dmv, well last time I was there.
I think Jeff is the guy I bought my eb off of.

Yep he has the shop in the rear across from the Rad shop.

Okay, that's who I thought it was. Gary recommended him
when I was up there in Aug. 2001 and needed to get my
transmission mount fixed before I drove the Heep back down
here. He did a great job at a really fair price. Nice guy. :D
