Im about to do mine, and I think DRM is doing one also. Mines on an 84 4runner. I am leaving my shackles in the stock position. My front D60 was from a 93 dually Dodge so it is a little wider than a full width single wheel. I am having the longside cut down 3.5" and sending the inner shaft to be cut and resplined(MyD60 was 32.5 perch width, Toy is 29"). My hubs are getting converted to single wheel offset too. I opted to do this because my rear D60 is only 65"wide. I dont really know how to fab much anyway, so the outboard spring thing was outta the question for me. If I was going to outboard though I would mount the shackles up front and have the solid mount in the back JMO though. Plus if the Sciences serve me right, the springs mounted closer to the center of the axle, it should articulate better than with the springs mounted farther out, but what do I know just sounds ok <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> . Probably not enough to notice a difference anyway.
