crosspost...

I am adding a fluid heat riser to the bottom of my intake on my 76' 2F and I could not find the correct bolt size for the plate. Anyone know the "right" size?
SOR and birfield.com did not give me size /pitch .. is it JIS or plain metric?.
I tried some metric I had on hand but they are strugglin to go in.

Ken I forgot to mention the MAF kit bolts are too long. This was like 6 years ago and surprize: looks like they have not corrected the problem. If you over torque you'll eventually strip or break part of your intake manifold. Mine parcially broken but still worked fine. What I would do is head to the nut and bolt store. $5 says it's a 1.25 or 1.5 pitch, it will definetely be metric. IIRC it is a 14mm head by wrench size.
