Heater fan

Yes, I searched, but didnt find anything that matches what I am wanting to do.

The fan works, the switch works proportionally on all settings.

On the highest setting, it works like it would on the second highest setting. Is there a way to bump up the flow through the fan?

those coil things arent burnt out. (if thats what you are referring to)
Thanks.

I was planning on running a couple jumper wires to test it, but I dont have any tools here. So I was looking for all possibilities before I get to the shop.

I was hoping I wouldnt have to pull the fan out. I pulled the fan in my dads 91 toyota. What a pain in the ass.

Pull the fan and motor out and have a look inside. My '85 first burned out the resistors and a few years later started to run slower and slower and finally would cut out periodically. Opened up the motor and found the brushes were worn down to nothing:

New set of brushes and its as good as it was before:

Do you have any pics of the motor actually being pulled apart? I tried to pull the motor apart on my dads truck and I broke the porcellin tabs and it was all junk. I dont want the same thing to happen to mine ;)
