those coil things arent burnt out. (if thats what you are referring to)
Do you have any pics of the motor actually being pulled apart? I tried to pull the motor apart on my dads truck and I broke the porcellin tabs and it was all junk. I dont want the same thing to happen to mine4CrawlR said:Pull the fan and motor out and have a look inside. My '85 first burned out the resistors and a few years later started to run slower and slower and finally would cut out periodically. Opened up the motor and found the brushes were worn down to nothing:
