Helmet review

well i got a new MotoX helmet today. I have a Shoei VFX-R also which many consider the best helmet on the market.

I bought an Answer M8 today and i'm very impressed with it. It cost me $200, just a little more than half of the Shoei. My Shoei is 3000 miles away so i can't be sure, but the Answer is at least as light, maybe lighter. The graphics and overall quality is top notch. Best of all the helmet is SUPER comfortable. The pads are really soft and well placed. Overall i'm very happy with this helmet. It even came with a free 2nd visor that is a pretty pimp chrome. It's definitely not a better helmet than the VFX-R but it's pretty damn close considering how much cheaper it is.

Btw i use a Shoei X-Eleven on the street and it is by far the best helmet i've ever tested so on the street it's not even an issue if you're willing to fork out the $$$

just rode around for about 2 hours and my first impressions still stand, i couldn't ask for much more in a helmet
If you had a choice, would you still wear one on the pavement? Just curious, not knocking you if you do.

why are you flipping me off a-hole. cool your fawkin jets:mad:

to answer your question, i ALWAYS wear a helmet, regardless of what i'm doing on a bike. This was also true when i lived in Colorado where there are no helmet laws. It is just my own personal decision that i will never start a bike up without a helmet on.

Sorry, no offense with the finger, its a bad habit of mine. I have an HJC I wear in the dirt. Luckily, I haven't "needed" it. I refuse to wear on on pavement, thats one reason I moved to Arizona. More power to you for doing so. I understand this conversation could go much deeper, but its nice to have a choice. Oh, yeah, I had the longest friend in my life pass away last year. He took on a car and lost, not wearing a helmet. He took a pretty good hit to the noodle, three weeks in ICU and never woke up. Hindsite is always 20/20. Keep the rubber side down:D
Yes, you are right its extraordinary comfort but still, I think it is a little bit costly for this purpose because I have found a lot of helmets quite less expensive in the same category Here.
