Hi guys, I'm trying to help a coworker troubleshoot his truck.

The fuel pump won't run after he replaced the engine.

There is a red wire coming off the power distribution block on the firewall that terminates in a two pin connector. The other wire at the connector is a ground. We believe this is the root cause of the loss of power to the fuel pump, but we can't identify where it should be plugged in.

Your pictures are not working for me. But iirc the fuel pump is powered through the oil pressure switch on that era gm truck so check that switch is plugged in.
